Must register for this event by going to DCNR Calendar of Events: Nest Detectives - DCNR Calendar of Events *Meeting Location: Militia Hill Day Use Area, Pavilion MHL-1, first right from gate at 6036 Joshua Rd, Fort Washington, PA 19034* In partnership with the PA Game Commission! Ever wonder what makes a bird a bird? Our avian friends have many qualities that make them unique. Participants will explore replica bird skulls, replica eggs, and real bird feathers and feet. In doing so, we will learn about the different bird families, habitats, types of nests, and adaptations of birds. For children ages 2-8 only; adults cannot register.
