Needle Felted Pillows (Ages 14+)

About this event

Turn wool roving into a one-of-a-kind decorative pillow in this cozy fall workshop! Learn the fundamentals of needle felting from Brooks-Elizabeth Billings, starting with the basics—how to hold and use a felting needle safely, how to build up flat and dimensional shapes, and how to blend colors like an artist mixing paint. By the end of class, you’ll have transformed loose wool into a soft, textured pillow design entirely your own. Want to keep the felting fun going at home? Add on a take-home felting kit for just $15 more, complete with everything you need to continue creating. Registration required; register online at spivaarts.org/event/needle-felted-pillows. Cost: $40.
