About this event
Local author Craig A. Brockman offers a practical, candid look at independent publishing—from the first idea to putting a finished book into readers’ hands. Drawing on his experience publishing fiction and nonfiction, Craig will cover the essentials of self-publishing, including editing, cover design, formatting, ISBNs and copyright, Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, costs, marketing, AI for authors, common mistakes, and lessons learned along the way. Whether you’re thinking about writing a book, have a manuscript underway, ready to publish, or have already published this presentation will help you better understand the journey from pondering to publishing. Approximately 30 minutes, followed by an extended Q&A. Bring all of your questions
