About this event

How we think and talk about our bodies can shape how we experience aging. In this three-session series, museum educator and Body Dialogue founder Janice Stieber Rous invites participants to explore the aging body through art, conversation, creative expression, and mindful reflection. Each session offers a different perspective on self-perception, embodiment, and the ways we can cultivate greater acceptance and curiosity as our bodies change. Selected Thursdays 1:00-2:00pm Pricing: Members: $50 for the season “Future Members”: $60 for the season Individual Session: $25 September 24 Session 1: How You Talk to Yourself About Yourself As we age, how we message our brains about our bodies is very important. This session will be interactive and help us rewire the messages we tell ourselves about aging. We will replace old tropes with healthier and more creative suggestions. We will have this session in the galleries in front of a painting.
