About this event

Program room. Balancing the demands of school, homework, and screen use can be a challenge for any family. This program focuses on understanding screens, games, and social media so that each family can set their own expectations. We will discuss the good and challenging elements of screentime, why too much screen time can cause problems, and how we can set healthy expectations within our families -- followed by time for questions and discussion. This talk is presented by Dr. Wendy Middlemiss, UNT professor emerita of Educational Psychology and Certified Family Life Educator of 32 years. Ages 16+.
