Nature Play

Come get wild with us! Explore the beauty of the natural world in the Museum’s classroom with local touch-table specimens, seasonally themed, nature-centered play opportunities, and plenty of ways to learn about our home planet. Each season brings new opportunities to discover, create, and connect with nature! Autumn Activities: Celebrate the colors and textures of fall with hands-on activities inspired by the changing seasons! Explore leaves, gourds, pinecones, and acorns at our nature touch table. Create colorful corn cobs using beads and pipe cleaners. Experiment with pinecone painting and printmaking. Discover how autumn leaves move in the wind. Nature Play activities are designed for school-aged children, but curious explorers of all ages are welcome!
