Celebrate nocturnal creatures at Secor Metropark with a night of climbing, dancing, and a spooktacular GLOW bike ride. Metroparks Toledo invites families to celebrate nocturnal creatures at the Nature at Night Fest. This family-friendly event features interactive activities inspired by local animals, offering seasonal outdoor fun for all ages. General admission to the festival is free, and no registration is required. Festivities & Activities Tree Climbing Station: Experience hanging like a bat in the trees. Silent Disco Dance Party: Join a firefly “flash” dance party featuring Silent Disco Headphones. Rock Climbing Wall: Scale the wall like a flying squirrel. Family Fun: Interactive games, crafts, and night-themed activities throughout the park. GLOW Bike Ride Presented in partnership with Maumee Valley Adventurers, this Halloween bike adventure takes riders on a well-marked 2.8-mile course through Secor Metropark featuring several candy stops along the way. Bike-safe Halloween costumes are highly encouraged. Requirements: Participants must bring a bicycle decorated in GLOW gear, a helmet (required for all riders), and a filled reusable water bottle. Bikes must be equipped with a white front light and a red rear light for safety. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Event Schedule: 6:30 PM: Festival begins & GLOW bike registration opens. 7:00 PM: Sunset. 7:30 PM: Registration closes; final riders depart into the dark park. 8:30 PM: Bike ride & candy stations close. 9:30 PM: Nature at Night Fest ends. Registration & Fees: Pre-Registration: $5 per rider (closes October 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM). Day-Of Registration: $8 per rider (credit card only; opens at 6:30 PM and closes at 7:30 PM).
