Every Native American Talking & Healing Circle is a little different. We always begin by smudging with sage or cedar. In our community we pass a feather around, during this time the person holding the feather has an opportunity to share what is in their heart, while the others respectfully listen. You may also pass the feather or be silent when it gets to you. This is a co-ed event, and we recommend you be 18 years of age to attend. We insist on a safe and all-inclusive space. We typically share a story, song or meditation to begin and always finish with a prayer. We ask for a $10 donation; it helps to keep the lights on and the space warm and cozy.
