National Animal Rights Day - Austin

Join us in Austin for National Animal Rights Day 💚 This is a free event. We invite you to be part of a meaningful and peaceful gathering as we come together to honor the billions of animals whose lives are lost each year, recognize their inherent value, and inspire a more compassionate world. 📍 Location: Pease Park Conservancy (Kingsbury Commons) – Austin, Texas 📅 Date: Sunday, June 7, 2026 🌿 Event Schedule: 10:30 AM – Arrival (free vegan donuts & coffee) 11:00 AM – Flower ceremony, poetry reading, live music, and a reading of the Declaration of Animal Rights 11:20 AM – Speakers & live music 12:30 PM – Community time - please feel free to bring a vegan lunch and connect with others. This is a welcoming space for everyone involved in animal advocacy or simply compassionate about animal rights. Together, we’ll reflect, remember, and uplift one another through shared purpose and community. 🚗 Parking Information: Parking at Pease Park is limited and fills up quickly. There is a small on-site lot at Kingsbury Commons, along with street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood. Additional parking may be found near the Austin Recreation Center. If the main lot is full, please allow a short walk (about 5–10 minutes) and plan accordingly.
