Narcan Trainings with the Monroe County Department of Public Health

Library Atrium. Representatives from the Department of Public Health Impact Team will be on hand to offer information about services, advice, support, referrals, and will also be offering quick, five-minute Narcan trainings to anyone who stops by and anyone who completes the training will receive a Narcan kit. What is Narcan? Narcan, also known as Naxolone, is a medicine that can be used in an emergency situation to rapidly reverse an overdose. To learn more about Narcan and to receive a free Narcan kit, stop by between 11-2pm. Registration is not required, but encouraged if you'd like to receive a reminder about the event.
