Library Atrium. Representatives from the Department of Public Health Impact Team will be on hand to offer information about services, advice, support, referrals, and will also be offering quick, five-minute Narcan trainings to anyone who stops by and anyone who completes the training will receive a Narcan kit. What is Narcan? Narcan, also known as Naxolone, is a medicine that can be used in an emergency situation to rapidly reverse an overdose. To learn more about Narcan and to receive a free Narcan kit, stop by between 11-2pm. Registration is not required, but encouraged if you'd like to receive a reminder about the event. Henrietta Public Library is committed to creating inclusive and accessible events.
