Napoleonic Fencing - Sabre/Broadsword (Beginner) [August 2026 Now Enrolling!]

**The beginner class for August 2026 begins August 10th, with open enrollment through September 3rd!** **This class is open to beginners interested in the Napoleonic Fencing class, or those looking to refresh their understanding of basic concepts.** This class focuses on learning British Sabre, Broadsword, & Spadroon fencing from the late 18th - early 19th Centuries. The current focus of the class is Charles Roworth's *The Art of Defence on Foot,* supplemented with Captain George Sinclair's *Anti-Pugilism / Cudgel Playing Modernized and Improved* and Thomas Mathewson's *Fencing Familiarized; A New Treatise on the Art of the Scotch Broad Sword*. This class aims to familiarize beginner students with the basic concepts of sabre and broadsword fencing.
