On Tuesday, November 3rd the Community Center for the Performing Arts presents Mystery Skulls & Fox Stevenson to the WOW Hall. Mystery Skulls is the genre-blurring project of singer, songwriter and producer Luis Dubuc, fusing electronic music, dance, neo-soul and vintage disco into a sound built equally for headphones and packed dance floors. Launched in 2011, Mystery Skulls quickly gained momentum with the self-titled debut EP and breakout single “Amazing.” In 2014, Dubuc released Forever, the project’s first full-length album, which climbed to No. 3 on the U.S. Dance charts and featured collaborations with Nile Rodgers of Chic and Brandy on “Magic” and “Number One.” More than a decade later, Mystery Skulls has built a devoted global fanbase through a steady stream of releases, wildly energetic live shows and a fiercely independent, fans-first approach.
