In this four-part Music Industry 101 series, Pablo Max will walk aspiring commercial musicians through how the industry at-large works. This series is aimed at anyone curious about working in the music industry, becoming a professional artist, songwriter, or producer, or general curiosity about the inner workings of the business. In Session #2, Pablo will cover Recording & Label Deals. What is a sound recording? Who facilitates sound recordings? At what point do you work with who and how do they get compensated? What is a label? How does a label work? How does a label find artists? What is discussed in record label deals typically? Opens one week in advance of each session. Ages 18+.
