Music in the Galleries: ReSound

Performances at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Enjoy live music in the galleries, with performances by ReSound from 12 to 12:45 p.m. and 1 to 1:45 p.m. The performances are included with Museum admission and are free for CSM members . Denver-based ReSound brings together solo voice and string quartet in an adventurous chamber music experience spanning classical, jazz, and popular song. No registration is required; walk-ins are welcome! Music in the Galleries concerts are family-friendly introductions to live music. Attendees are welcome to sit, stand, wiggle, and walk through the galleries while enjoying the music. Seating is limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the music can be enjoyed from any gallery. About the Performers Kali Paguirigan, voice; Leena Waite & Robyn Julyan, violins; Rebekah Durham, viola; and Erin Finckel Patterson, cello Founded by vocalist Kali Paguirigan and violinist Leena Waite, the ensemble draws on musicians performing with the Colorado Symphony, Opera Colorado, Colorado Ballet, and beyond. Their programming — from Debussy and Caroline Shaw to Sting, Talking Heads, and Punch Brothers — moves fluidly across genres, weaving the human voice with bowed strings to express the full range of emotion.
