Music in Platt Park | Platt Park in Dalton Sunday, August 23 & Sunday, September 27, 2026 | 4:00 PM–6:00 PM Music in Platt Park brings two free concerts to Platt Park in Dalton on Sunday, August 23, and Sunday, September 27, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Lipstick & Rye kicks off the series on August 23 with country music. The Williams Brothers take the stage on September 27 with Irish fiddle music and more. Both concerts are free and open to everyone. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair and refreshments for a relaxing evening of live music. The nonprofit Dalton Community & Commerce Association sponsors the series. Support is also provided through a Lackawanna County Community Arts & Culture Grant Project. Music in Platt Park in Dalton invites the community to enjoy two free afternoons of live music outdoors.
