About this event
“Music for Everyone” is an accessible, sensory-friendly music program focused on giving children and teenagers a creative outlet through music. No musical experience or instruments required. Space is limited, please register to reserve your spot. A caregiver must be present with each child. If you have any accommodation requests, please contact Polina at prubanova@aclibrary.org. Meet the Music Therapist Peter Knezevich has been playing music his whole life. He has provided music and art instruction to children with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. He has also worked in mental health, supporting young people living with anxiety and depression. Peter’s personal experience living with ADHD and dyslexia has given him valuable insight into the experience of neurodivergent students. He believes that music can play a vital role for any child, especially those who communicate and perceive the world differently from many of their peers. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
