Music-Biz Community

Your music career has a business side. Let’s talk about it. Making music is one thing. Figuring out how to release it, promote it, find opportunities, collect royalties, and build a sustainable career is a whole other job. And too often, independent musicians are expected to figure it all out on their own. Those are just some reasons why we're creating a space at Full Circle for Hudson Valley musicians to connect, share knowledge, learn from people with industry experience, and help each other navigate the business side of making music. That's why we're bringing two complementary programs to the community. The After Hours is our free weekly gathering, happening every Tuesday, where musicians can meet, exchange ideas, ask questions, and learn from one another. The Artist Lab takes place every fourth Tuesday of the month and offers focused, hands-on learning with guest experts and practical toolkits, on a pay-what-you-can sliding scale of $10, $15, or $20. Come for the conversations, stay for the community, and leave with new ideas, useful resources, and people you can grow alongside. THE AFTER HOURS Your front door to the community. An informal, free, come-as-you-are conversation about the real life of an independent artist. Bring a question, bring a project you're stuck on, or just come to listen and meet other musicians. No experience required, no pitch, no pressure. Just good conversation, and the questions you didn't know you were allowed to ask. When: Tuesdays | 6:00 – 7:00 PM | First gathering: Oct 27 Where: The Trailside Lounge at Full Circle | 297 Bruynswick Rd. Gardiner, NY 12525 How: FREE. Please RSVP here: TheAfterHours Drop-ins: Totally welcome! RSVP helps us plan the space, but if you decide last minute, just show up.
