Music at the Vineyard – J Stephens Join us Friday, April 10 from 1-4 PM at Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room & Winery for Live Music at the Vineyard with J Stephens! Since the release his first solo album “Stubborn Hearted Handbook” in the Fall of 2020, J Stephens has been very busy adapting to the changes brought on by the pandemic. Fast forward quite a few years, and J is now a full time musician, producer and father. Somewhere in the healthy but hectic balance of performing, producing and being a family man, J has found the time to work on a new release, “Suitcase Rock & Roll”. The first single, “Not Done” is currently streaming on all platforms. This album is closer to the live feel of J’s solo gigs. The sound mostly consisting of the suitcase drum, guitars, harmonica and his voice. He performs often as a one-man band, singing and playing guitar while playing a suitcase kick drum and a tambourine with his feet. He also performs with his folkrock trio, “Howl In The Valley”. Both projects keep him pretty busy performing locally and regionally. J is currently tracking a new solo record and also writing for a new “Howl In The Valley” record. J Stephens will be bringing the tunes to Burntshirt Friday, 4/10. Come on down to Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery in Hendersonville for an afternoon of fantastic food and wines.
