About this event

Explore the fascinating world of dendrochronology with hands-on activities for all ages! Build your own tree model, create tree-inspired artwork, and discover stories of past civilizations, changing climates, and wildfires recorded in tree rings. Explore the Fire Ecology Learning Lab kit to learn about the fire triangle and how plants and animals adapt to their environment. Museum Day at the Library is a monthly, year-round community engagement program that brings University of Arizona museums, venues, and outreach departments directly to select Tucson libraries. Each month features a different campus group and a hands-on, family-friendly activity designed to spark curiosity and introduce visitors to the people, collections, research, and learning opportunities available through the university.
