Celebrate faith, culture and community at the Multicultural Marian Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, 101 San Marco Ave., St. Augustine. The day begins with a Marian Procession of Cultures at 8:30 a.m., featuring Marian images and cultural banners, followed by a multilingual Mass at 9 a.m. celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Felipe Estévez. At 10:45 a.m., keynote speaker Dr. Ansel Augustine, assistant director of African American Affairs for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, will present on faith and evangelization. The afternoon includes a multilingual rosary and teen session at 1 p.m., followed by a cultural celebration at 2 p.m. featuring music, dance, performances and food representing the diverse communities of the Diocese of St. Augustine. The festival is presented by the Office of Multicultural Ministries in collaboration with the Office of Youth and Young Adults and diocesan cultural communities. All are welcome.
