Multi-Media Presentation with Percussionist John Santos

For this two-hour presentation, master percussionist, historian, and multiple Grammy nominee John Santos explores the musical traditions of Cuba and Puerto Rico, describing how their shared colonial experiences created a similar foundation for resistance and self-expression that brought forth iconic genres of music, such as salsa and Latin jazz. **NOTE that this event is on a Wednesday night.** TICKET PRICE: About $22 in advance online, or $25 at the door.
