About this event
BUY TICKETS $8 per admission at Box Office. $10 per admission online or by phone. Online ticket sales end 2 hours before movies and events. Doors open at 6 p.m. At the very end of the 1970’s, post office worker Ed Saxberger (Willem Dafoe) wrote a book of poetry that nobody cared about. After an eager and flattering fan (Edmund Donovan) appears on his doorstep, Saxberger is beckoned into a coterie of young admirers who anoint him a rediscovered genius. The group of downtown bohemians is led by their “tragic heroine,” Gloria (Greta Lee). Intoxicated by the attention, and Gloria’s alluring presence, Saxberger gradually reckons with the authenticity of his newfound poetic circle. Unrated. 96 minutes. Admission requirements subject to change. Buy tickets through button above, purchase at the door, or call 716.484.7070. Box office open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12-5 p.m. and one hour before events. The Reg Lenna Center for The Arts' programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
