West End Meeting Room A. Spend a weekday afternoon at the movies. Join us for a series of films adapted from novels. This week's film is The Princess Bride, based on a book by William Goldman. In the delightfully fractured tale, a grandfather reads a story about a beautiful young woman named Buttercup to his bored grandson. Then, the audience is magically transported into the tale, complete with villains, creepy creatures and a love story. Rated PG-13; 1h 38m Snacks are provided--You may bring a beverage. All films show at 2pm on Wednesdays.
