The Morningside String Band (Morningside Duo) is based out of Steamboat Springs, CO. The band formed in 2019 and tends to have an eclectic mix of songs in their live shows, mixing originals and covers, rooted in blues, reggae, bluegrass, funk, jam and rock. All the members of the band have lived in various parts of Colorado for decades and played in many other music projects over the years. The band’s sounds lends its self to live performances, adapting their setlists and jams/arrangements to the energy of the crowds and venue. The band is known around Steamboat for playing festive outdoor gigs in the spring and summer.
