The Westport chapter of the global Morbidly Curious Book Club (MCBC) will meet the fourth Tuesday of every month. For October, the group will be discussing Spiritualism's Place: Reformers, Seekers, and Seances in Lily Dale by Averill Earls, Sarah Handley-Cousins, Marissa C Rhodes, et al. A virtual book club with thousands of global members and dozens of local chapters, MCBC explores the dark side of nonfiction with monthly selections on topics including cults, true crime, ghosts and hauntings, and medical history.
