Monthly Meeting: Lighthouse for the Blind

About this event

Join us as we welcome representatives from [Lighthouse for the Blind](https://lhbindustries.com/) who will share with us about their mission of helping individuals who are legally blind obtain and maintain employment and of providing support to young people navigating blindness. We will also learn some of the challenges people with blindness face, misconceptions people have about people who are blind, and the best ways to interact respectfully. One member will also be bringing a guide dog to explain the rules, regulations, and culture surrounding guide dogs. After the meeting, we'll for go for dinner at a nearby restaurant.
