Montclair Coffee, Gadgets & Startups — October Meetup!

Is AI making us smarter and more productive—or are we becoming too dependent on it? Artificial intelligence is changing how we work, learn, create, and solve problems. But as we increasingly rely on AI to do our thinking, writing, researching, and decision-making, are we gaining new capabilities—or losing some of our own? Join us for a lively, informal conversation about the benefits, challenges, and unintended consequences of AI. We'll explore questions like: How is AI making your work or everyday life easier? Are there things you now rely on AI to do that you previously did yourself? Is AI helping us think more creatively—or making us less inclined to think independently? Where should we draw the line between using AI as a tool and becoming dependent on it? No technical expertise required! Whether you're an enthusiastic AI user, a skeptic, or simply curious, your perspective is welcome. As always, we'll have introductions, plenty of conversation, and our Give/Get round, where everyone can share something they can offer or something they're looking for—ideas, expertise, resources, or connections. ### 📅 Event Details Tuesday, October 27, 2026 7:00–8:00 PM Panera Bread 15 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ Come for the coffee.
