Monday Dinner Ride - July Concerts in Monument Valley Park

Starting July 6th, the Monday Dinner Ride will relocate to Monument Valley Park. The Friends of Monument Valley Park organization will present free outdoor concerts on the four Monday evenings in July! Funkology (Funk, Dance and R&B) will be the band for this evening. More information about the series this year is at https://www.fmvp.net/musical-mondays.html NOTE: we'll gather on the south side of the Park at 5:00pm to be prepared to begin the ride PROMPTLY at 5:15. Look for the cyclists there at the Park. The evening’s ride will bring us back to the Park in time to listen to the 6:30 concert. Upon returning to Monument Valley Park, stow your bikes in the car, gather your lawn chairs and blankets and come together in the Park to listen to the concert. Food truck(s) will be there offering food to fulfill the dinner portion of the “Monday Dinner Ride.” Or, you can also bring a picnic dinner from home if you’d like. Just a reminder: While this is classified as a Green ride, you should be able to continuously ride comfortably at a speed of 10 miles per hour, with a variation of speed between 9 and 15 mph (depending on uphill or downhill). Typically, the ride will be 10 to 14 miles in length (gradually moving towards that 14-mile length as we progress into the summer). RSVP is appreciated but not required to participate.
