About this event
Learn about the amazing migration of the Monarch butterfly, then decorate a life-sized butterfly to be included in a folder that will "fly" to a classroom in Mexico near the forest where the Monarchs hibernate. A copy of your butterfly will be displayed in the Children's Department. The following spring, those students in Mexico will send their decorated butterflies on a migration (through the mail) back to Maryland to join the display in the Children's Department.
