Join Seth McGee for a hands-on field trip to explore the world ofmigrating monarchs! You'll learn how to safely catch and tag butterflies aspart of a research initiative that tracks their incredible journey to Mexico.We'll also dive into monarch natural history, ecology, and conservation, andshare tips for turning your own yard into a monarch-friendly ecosystem. Thisevent is open to all ages and will entail walking on narrow trails through thetallgrass prairie. Meet at the Picnic Point entrance kiosk, 2000 University BayDrive. Public parking is free on weekends and after 4:30pm on weekdaysin Lot 130, 2003 University Bay Drive. The entry point is served by MetroBus Stop #2938 outbound and #2881 inbound. See map.wisc.edu.
