Moms' Time-Out: Lettering & Sign Making

Interested in updating your wall décor but don’t have much money to spend? Consider making your own! On Wednesday, October 7, 10:00am-11:30am, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is holding a class on Lettering & Sign Making for Wall Décor as part of their Moms’ Time-Out series. Registration is a requirement for participation in the classes; fee is $10. You can register by phone, in person, or by mail. When registering, please give your name, address, phone number, and email. We encourage anyone to attend but moms with young children are specifically invited because the Center has arranged for them to be entertained in a nearby room. At MiMi’s Place they will be learning nursery rhymes, poems, and simple movements and play rhythm instruments to express themselves through music and sound. At this time, we are unable to care for children who are wearing diapers. Grandma or another trusted adult are welcome to come along with the children. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center/Betty Strong Encounter Center was built and is sustained by the Missouri River Historic Development Organization as a gift of history to the community.
