About this event
If you are interested in studying philosophy, political science, or legal/judiciary systems at University, you will greatly benefit from Model United Nations (MUN). Never heard of it? Come learn what Model UN is and how it works. Sammamish Youth Model UN (SYMUN) will teach the ins and outs of MUN, from Rules of Procedure to position papers and resolutions for the first 30 minutes. Afterward, try out what you have learned in a full hour of practice simulation. SYMUN is a youth-led group that provides for a dedicated community of MUNers in 6-12th grades, teaching students about international cooperation through simulations where they can speak on international issues. For middle and high school ages. Please register. Walk-ins welcome as space allows.
