Mies van der Rohe Way Walk

Chicago has great architecture so a walk should honor a great architect. For our December walk we will honor Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. He was a German and American architect, academic, and interior designer. He was commonly referred to as Mies, his surname. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of modern architecture. The street named after him is tiny so the walk will conclude on Mies van der Rohe Way in the Magnificent Mile. We will start at a Dunkin at Ashland and Roosevelt, make our way and walk through the UIC campus. Zig and Zag a bit and make our way to the Magnificent Mile to Mies van der Rohe way.
