Join us for Middle Grade Book Club! Each month we'll read the same book before getting together for discussion, crafts, games, and snacks. Parents/guardians are welcome to stay for club meetings. Older students may wish to join Teen Book Club and adults may join the Thistle Cottage Book Club or the New Chapter Book Club. For our December meeting, we will be reading Alone by Megan E. Freeman. Learn more about this title here. Copies may be borrowed from KDLA by visiting Central City Public Library and presenting a valid library card. Middle Grade Book Club is a great way for youth to increase their interest in reading, to "unplug", to socialize, & to develop reading skills (comprehension, endurance, & speed).
