Mid-week evening hike in North Park, (Wednesday) ROOSEVELT LOCATION

Welcome to the Beat the Blues Wellness Adventure Group! Join host Ed for an evening hike of the local trails in the North Park area. **Headlamp** or **Flashlight** is highly recommended. Dogs are allowed on the trails (but have to keep up with the pace of the hike) **Meeting location:** Roosevelt Grove Parking Lot. We will be hiking in all conditions unless notified in advance. **Distance and pace:** Hikes typically last about 1-1/2 to 2 hours and stretch for over 4 miles. This Is a **moderate to fast paced** hike with some breaks for water. **Recommendations:** * Because of the terrain and unexpected ground conditions (i.e., snow, ice, mud, water, loose ground, etc.) it is **HIGHLY** recommended that you wear hiking shoes/boots. Hiking poles are encouraged for un-even terrain, but not always necessary. * Lastly, **hydration is key.** We always and strongly recommend you bring water or some sort of hydration with you. **Please take note of our attendance request:** The event is limited to 25 in order to account for all hikers and respect the peace of the park. If you can not attend, please change your reservation ** as soon as possible** so that others may join the event. We reserve the right to remove anyone from event(s) or the group due to not adhering to our guidelines. ***Hikers attend at their own risk, and it is the individual responsibility of each hiker to determine what is safe for themselves on all of our hikes.*** Message me with any other questions that you may have.
