Michael Vincent Band

Starting out 18 years ago as a straightforward blues band - The Michael Vincent Band or MVB as they have come to be known by many, has logged thousands of miles and hundreds of gigs. Originating from the Northeast, Michael set out at the age of 18 yearning to find the home of the blues. He found it in Mississippi where he has been based ever since. In his travels he met 9 time Grammy nominated blues producer and BB King Band Alumnus (1969-1976) Ron Levy. After many years in semi-retirement Ron was inspired by Michael to return to the stage in 2018 with a sold out show at Pitmans Freight Room in Laconia, New Hampshire backed by Michaels band. Several gigs and a few recording sessions ensued with Ron at the Hammond B3 - tastefully backing and directing the band. When Covid-19 hit the world and everything seemingly came to a screeching halt, so did Rons willingness to return to the road. Michael Vincent and Jimmy Vaughan are my two favorite guitar players today comments Levy whom has worked with the likes of Albert and BB King and Little Jimmy King. Michael continues to perform and write and has said that Blues, Rhythm and Blues- music in general are part of my DNA and I never plan on stopping.
