About this event
Writer Alice Sola Kim will read from and discuss her work. A recipient of a 2016 Whiting Award, Kim has published short fiction in many magazines, including “McSweeney’s Quarterly” and “Tin House.” Her story “Mothers, Lock Up Your Daughters Because They Are Terrifying” has been acquired for film development by Fox 2000 Pictures and 21 Laps, with Kim serving as executive producer. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Washington University in St. Louis and teaches fiction writing at Sarah Lawrence College and Johns Hopkins University.
