Metal Lathe Class

This class will cover the basics of manual metal lathe to create axially-symmetric parts such as shafts, screws, rings, and more! Each student will be given a part to fabricate, and will learn about the three and four jaw chuck, live centers, turning, facing, boring, threading, and parting. Participants can take their piece with them and finish fabricating it in the shop at a later time. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and help us shape the future version of this class!
