A versatile performer, she moves seamlessly between jazz, funk, rock, and classic pop, while also leading her own group, the Meryl Zimmerman Quintet. In addition to her work on stage, she is a dedicated educator at Loyola University and the University of New Orleans, an active collaborator in theatrical and interdisciplinary projects, and the host of a beloved weekly jam session at Carrollton Station.
