Men's Breakfast Group

Come on out for an affordable BYOB (Buy Your Own Breakfast) the first and third Saturday at local restaurant Peach Valley Café, just off South Orange Avenue at Michigan, from 7:30am-9:00am. The group is for all men of adult age. Men's Breakfast Group is about celebrating life together as men, making new friends, and building healthy friendships. In 1624, John Donne wrote that "No man is an island." We are a diverse group of men from all walks of life, various cultures, and all life ages and stages... both married and single, and all career paths. Beyond breakfast, we usually meet every month for an activity of some type. We’ve done the shooting range, a baseball game, and the Orlando Opera. (Yes, the Opera. Full disclosure, it was a Star Trek-themed opera.) We have other upcoming fun events on the agenda such an Escape Room, Board Game Night, Fellowship BBQ, etc. We support each other in positive conversations about friendship, career paths, family life, children, spouses, and other fun things guys like to talk about with other guys. The men are welcoming and non-judging; we are not into cliques but rather united as one. You will laugh and make new friends every visit. THINGS TO KNOW: Nearly one hundred men have visited the group, coming from all parts of town. Usually, we average anywhere from 10-20 men each week. Your breakfast can cost anywhere from a couple of bucks to fifteen dollars. The breakfast/lunch menu is quite varied, from red meat to salads. The group mainly consists of Christian men, but you don’t have to be a Christian to join. If you're not a Christian you won’t be pushed into anything. ALL men are welcome! It is breakfast, not an intense Bible study; you don’t need to bring a Bible. We do "say grace" before our meal and close with any prayer requests. We used to meet at the Peach Valley Café in Dr. Phillips but have outgrown that location and now meet at the Peach Valley Café near downtown, on South Orange Avenue at Michigan next to the Office…
