Community Room. Join Jack Butler, co-author of Mendon Ponds Park: Fairchild’s Dream, to learn more about the largest park in Monroe County. Butler, who has led Fairchild Walking Tours of the park since 2021, will deliver a comprehensive account of Mendon Ponds history, glacial geology, flora and fauna, former residents, and unusual features. He is also the author of Durand Eastman Park: Yesterday and Today, and presented on it at HPL earlier in the year. Henrietta Public Library is committed to creating inclusive and accessible events.
