4.6 miles, 351 feet elevation gain $10 park fee per car $ 3 driver's fee Leader: Lee Seckels cell#303-718-7026 The Moonlight-San Tan-Hedgehog Loop in San Tan Mountain Regional Park provides a scenic hike through the varied terrain of the Sonoran Desert. Along the trail, one might encounter a variety of plants and wildlife. The hike through "Middle Mountain" provides great views of the Malpais Hills as well as northwest Chandler. Trail head has bathrooms. Hiking poles recommended. New hikers must contact the hike leader prior to the hike.
