A Live Conversation with Gander, Newfoundland Heroes—At the FAC and Online Meet the real-life heroes whose story inspired the Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away. On September 26, join us for an intimate, interactive webinar featuring four extraordinary people from Gander, Newfoundland—the small town that opened its arms and heart to nearly 7,000 stranded passengers on September 11, 2001. Special Guests Brian Williams Brian Mosher Oz Fudge Claude Elliott Their generosity, compassion, and humanity helped inspire a Broadway sensation. Now, they will join us live from Gander to share their stories directly with you. The guests will appear via Zoom on screen in the JiGaSa Theatre. Audience members may ask questions during the live Q&A, and those attending online may submit questions through the Zoom chat. This is more than a webinar. It’s a chance to connect with the heart of Come From Away—to hear firsthand what it means to choose kindness, build community across borders, and believe in the power of human connection.
