@ Join herbalist Mo Katz-Christy for a meander around the library parks, grounds, and surrounding neighborhoods to meet plants and explore their medicinal uses! We will explore weeds and cultivated plants, trees and shrubs, and have lots of space for questions and conversation. Free, registration is requested. Please sign up below. This program takes place on Thursday, September 3, 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Bring a notebook if you like, and meet us on the first floor of the Library. Note that this program begins at the library but will then walk throughout the neighborhood — arriving late may mean you miss the group at the library and will not be able to catch up. This program is designed for adults but all are welcome. They approach herbalism by connecting folks to the knowledge they already have about their body and herbs through working with kitchen medicine, ancestral traditions, and mulberries falling on the sidewalk! Mo teaches herb classes and programs at over 50 different sites in New England. They work one-on-one with clients to address the root imbalances that are causing dysregulation and to promote long-term healing, focusing on gut health.
