Meeting Room, Medical Lake. Registration is required. Take the guesswork out of Medicare. This free, unbiased class is for anyone new to Medicare and those wanting a refresher. We cover Parts A, B, C, and D and go over your Medicare benefits and options, including a comparison of Medicare Advantage plans and Medigaps. Community Partners: SHIBA & ALTCEW Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) provide free, unbiased, and confidential counseling services and are part of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. SHIBA is a statewide network of trained volunteers who advocate for and assist consumers with Medicare. Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington (ALTCEW) is the local sponsor of SHIBA and provider of Medicare education. ALTCEW also provides education and support on the topics of dementia and memory loss, fall prevention, and others. Presented by educators from ALTCEW
