Medical Mayhem! A Family Program

About this event

Miasmas, microbes, and mercury, oh my! Medical Mayhem is a family program that explores the evolution of medical training and practice during the Victorian era of the 1800s. Visitors can earn their own “certificate of medical competency” by completing kid-friendly activities throughout the museum including diagnosis of disease, treating symptoms, using a microscope, making their own herbal remedies, and more. Space will be limited to provide the best atmosphere for our participants. Advance online tickets are $6.00 for children ages 6-18 and $8.00 for adults; members receive a 50% discount with member code. Click here for tickets! Tickets at the door will be $8.00 for children and $10.00 for adults. Children 5 and under are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tickets include all-day access to the museum; registration is required so that we have enough supplies on hand. Both children and adults must have a ticket to enter. Best for ages 7-13. Activities are ongoing throughout the event, so families can stop by at any point between 11am & 2:30pm. Medical Mayhem will run rain or shine (it’s entirely indoors.) In the event of dangerous weather forcing CCHC to close, all tickets will be refunded. Otherwise, once purchased, tickets are NONREFUNDABLE. Are you a member?
