McDowell Scenic Trail Hike

This is a nice 4.4 mile trail. Once we start our incline to the top of the hill, the elevation increases rather quickly. AllTrails rates this hike as Moderate. This hike has beautiful views and is a nice adventure. This is a beautiful trail in the McDowell Mountain Region, it is a wonderful area to get out and hike or ride the trails. To find the trailhead, follow the main road (McDowell Mountain Park Dr) to Shallmo Dr. Follow Shallmo drive to the trailhead staging area. There is a $10 parking fee. You can purchase an annual parking fee/entrance pass for $120.
