May Young Professionals Build

If you want to meet new people and learn new skills while helping to build houses for low income families in the community – this is the EVENT for you. We're building duplexes in Oshara Village, a neighborhood where Habitat has built many homes. No experience needed - staff and volunteers will teach you everything you need to know when you arrive. We will meet at 2 Blue Feather Road (at the corner of Blue Feather and Craftsman Roads) in Oshara Village at 8:30 a.m. Logistics: Things to wear or bring: -Old/comfortable work clothes -Closed-toed shoes -Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen -Water bottle -A bag lunch to eat or we will go out to eat as a group -A mask to wear if working indoors (if desired) Please sign up for our group membership at: https://santafehabitat.org/santa-fe-habitat-young-professionals/ If you have not already, please create a Volunteer Profile with us by clicking “New Volunteer Registration” at the top of the page linked above. If you already have a profile, simply log-in. Once logged in, the Volunteer Opportunities Calendar will appear. On the date of the build, check the box and click “Sign Up.” On the following page, confirm the volunteer date and click “Schedule Only Me.” You are now registered to volunteer with Santa Fe Habitat Young Professionals. Approximate schedule: * 8:30 AM Meet at work site * \~12 PM - 1PM Lunch Hour * 3:30 PM Build Day Ends * Afterward - socialize at a local brewery
