Math Time

Math Time is a playful, hands-on program designed to introduce preschool children to early math concepts in a fun and supportive environment. Children and their caregivers will explore numbers, counting, shapes, measurements, and comparisons through songs, movement, games, and simple crafts. This interactive program helps build a strong foundation for school readiness while encouraging curiosity and confidence with math. Along the way, children will also strengthen fine motor skills, practice problem-solving, and develop social-emotional skills as they learn and play alongside peers. Caregivers will gain ideas and strategies they can easily continue at home, making math a natural and enjoyable part of everyday life. Ideal for children ages 2–5. All families are welcome. Registration is not required. If you have questions, please contact the La Plata Branch at 301-934-9001 or email laplataref@ccplonline.org.
